Eclipse Compliance Testing, division of Nick Farley & Associates Onsite Verification at Will Rogers Downs Shows Efficiency Over Competition

On Thursday, April 13, 2006, Cherokee Casinos’ Will Rogers Downs in Claremore, Oklahoma enlisted Eclipse Compliance Testing, division of Nick Farley & Associates, Inc. to conduct an onsite review and examination of 101 VGT Live Call Bingo Bonanza Bingo player terminals and the respective system server.  The purpose of this inspection was to assure that the installed games and servers were properly operating with the correct software versions that had heretofore been approved by Eclipse Compliance Testing.  All player terminals were tested for proper communication to ensure that all accounting and security information was being transmitted correctly.  Previously, a competing independent test laboratory performed a similar onsite inspection which required the use of four employees over four days in order to complete an inspection of 250 machines.  Eclipse Compliance Testing was able to complete the same type of inspection for 101 machines using only two employees in one day.

“The quick yet efficient manner of testing, that our clients have come to appreciate and expect of Eclipse Compliance Testing was highlighted during this onsite inspection.  Following a competitor’s completed examination gave us a chance to showcase, in comparison, our proficient testing procedures.  This is the second time that we have been able to conduct such a thorough, yet efficient examination of gaming equipment in just one day.  Our swift turnaround time, and impeccable testing results, clearly reflects our ability to compete among our peers, and that competition breeds improvements and efficiencies in testing.  ” stated Nick Farley, President

Eclipse Compliance Testing, division of Nick Farley & Associates Successful Onsite Inspection Completed in Only One Business Day

Eclipse Compliance Testing conducted an onsite review and examination of 100 VGT Live Call Bingo Bonanza Bingo player terminals and their respective system server on Thursday, March 30, 2006 at the Choctaw Nation’s Blue Ribbon Downs Racino (BRD) in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.  The scope of this assessment was to assure that the games and servers installed on the property were properly operating with the approved software versions that had been previously authorized by Nick Farley & Associates, Inc., parent company of Eclipse Compliance Testing, under the Rules for Racetrack Gaming promulgated by the Oklahoma Horse Racing Commission (OHRC).  Additionally, the player terminals being examined underwent communication testing to assure the proper transmission of security and accounting information to the system server.  A similar examination of 250 devices had been recently undertaken at this facility by a competing independent test laboratory using four staff members over a period of four days.  Having brought in only two employees and finishing their inspection in one business day, Eclipse Compliance Testing completed their inspection of 100 games and the respective server in one-quarter of the time and engaging only half the staff of their competition.

“Two [Eclipse Compliance Testing] employees worked with OHRC staff and BRD staff to conduct this inspection.  We began the inspection around 9AM, trained the OHRC staff on the use and operation of the FileCheck software verification tool, conducted the inspection, and had received authorization from the OHRC to allow the games to go live before 5:30PM on the same day.  Such an efficient inspection is unprecedented!  Eclipse Compliance Testing is excited to be able to offer our clients efficient and top quality testing services that stand out among our industry peers.  Our swift, yet thorough, examination is a strong proponent to our credibility in an industry in which integrity is a valuable and necessary asset.” stated Nick Farley, President

Eclipse Compliance Testing, division of Nick Farley & Associates Selected to Verify the Choctaw Casinos Implementation of the Gaming Standards Association's System-to-System Protocol

Eclipse Compliance Testing was selected by the Choctaw Gaming Commission to serve as the contracted test laboratory to conduct the on-site inspection of the Choctaw Casinos – Durant implementation of the Gaming Standards Association’s (GSA) System-To-System (S2S) Protocol in its new gaming facility in Durant, Oklahoma.  According to the GSA, this was the first property in North America to employ the S2S protocol on the PGIC CasinoLink system.  Choctaw Casinos is the first in the industry to utilize the S2S protocol for communication among Class II and Class III gaming systems within the same facility.

Eclipse Compliance Testing is pleased to have been selected as the test laboratory to perform the on-site verification for such a ground-breaking event in the gaming industry. Eclipse Compliance Testing won the bid over the two other Independent Testing Laboratories that submitted in response to the Choctaw Gaming Commission’s RFP.  The onsite testing to ensure that the S2S Protocol had been properly implemented consisted of testing approximately 1500 player terminals connected to eight different vendors’ monitor and control systems all connected to the PGIC CasinoLink system.  The S2S implementation at Choctaw Casinos – Durant employs several classes of the S2S protocol, including vouchering and accounting.  These tests verified a unification of casino service amongst a multitude of vendors.  The Choctaw Casinos – Durant is among the first in the industry to allow cross validation of cash vouchers among various manufacturers products through the implementation of the S2S protocol.

Eclipse Compliance Testing had been an active part of this implementation process since this project was conceptualized by Choctaw Casinos almost a year ago.  We are pleased to report that many issues were identified and rectified through our onsite verification.  Choctaw Casinos - Durant has recently opened its doors to the public, and has been operating successfully under the S2S protocol.” stated Nick Farley, President.  The Choctaw Casinos - Durant is the newest of the Choctaw casinos, having gone live days after the testing was completed.
